OK. These baked buffalo chicken thighs are amazing. This recipe is really easy and so good. I can make a meal out of wings, so why not use something a little bigger? This crispy baked buffalo chicken thigh recipe takes less than 45 minutes to cook and come out so juicy and delicious.
I love chicken wings, especially love, buffalo wings. I can make a meal out of wings anytime, so I just thought why not make buffalo thighs. These are so good they’re bigger.
Equipment You’ll Need
You’re gonna need a bacon sheet some parchment paper and a small bowl. Also used to pastry brush on the chicken thighs, but if you don’t have one, you can just drizzle it on with the spoon.
Ingredients You’ll Need
Chicken Thighs:
I used family pack of chicken thighs. I believe there were 8 in my packet.
Cornstarch and Baking Powder:
I used equal parts cornstarch and baking powder to rub over the skin of the chicken. This helps it really crisp up.
Seasonings:
You don’t need a lot of seasonings since you will be dousing it in the buffalo sauce. I only used salt, pepper, and little garlic powder.
Buffalo Sauce:
You’ll need about a cup of buffalo sauce to rub over the thighs.
How to Make These Baked Buffalo Chicken Thighs
step one:
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Lay out a large baking pan and line it with parchment paper. Please each breast on top of the parchment paper.
step two:
Pat each breast with paper towels to get rid of any moisture. Then, place them on skin up. In a small bowl, add your baking powder, cornstarch, and your seasonings. Mix them up really well together and rub them on the chicken thighs.
step three:
Bake in the oven at 400 for about 30 to 40 minutes or until chicken reaches 165° internally. Once the chicken is fully cooked, remove from the oven and brush the buffalo sauce on the top and bottom of the thighs.
