Muffuletta Dip
Bring the flavors of New Orleans to your snack table with this rich and savory Muffuletta Dip. It will be a hit at any party you bring it to! The cream cheese, meat and olives make it one of my favorite Mardi Gras appetizers!
I am always so inspired and amazing by the food of New Orleans, with New Orleans appetizers being no exception. There are so many amazing sandwiches in the city, but you cannot beat a muffuletta. Hands down, so amazing. I thought of this recipe like, “let me put all the things in a muffaletta into a dip. Then, use toast to dip it in?”
That’s how my brain works at night, and I think I really thankfully nailed this one. It was so amazingly good. I made it for the AFC championship game. It was gone so fast. I can’t wait to make it again.

Equipment You’ll Need…
If you’ve read any of my prior posts, you’d know we spend a lot of time in New Orleans. This recipe just reminds me of the amazing muffuletta you can get down there all thrown into one dip. When I made it the first time, I knew it would be good, but I didn’t realize it would be this good.
I thought about making in a smaller dish, but of course I had to put it in a cast iron. Turned out amazing. Here are a few of the items I used. An 8′ round cast iron, a large mixing bowl, cutting board, kitchen knife and a large spoon!
Ingredients You’ll Need…
It’s a very simple recipe. You’ll just combine all your ingredients and place them into your skillet. I used a block of softened cream cheese, some mayo, and shredded mozzarella. I then took half the slices out of an 8-ounce package of sliced provolone and chopped them up into little pieces. Then I did the same thing with slices of salami and deli ham. Once chopped up, each equaled about a half a cup. Then, I did the same with my olives.
So, you might think this recipe would be overpoweringly salty, but trust me, it’s not. The cream cheese and other cheeses balance it out so well. Each bite is so gooey and perfect.
Shopping List:
- 1 8oz Block of Cream Cheese
- 2 tbsp Mayonaisse
- 1/2 cup Shredded Mozzarella

- 1/4 cup Pimento Stuffed Green Olives, chopped
- 1/4 cup Kalamata Olives, Chopped
- 1/2 cup Salami, Chopped
- 1/2 cup Deli Ham, Chopped

Step by Step How to Make This Easy Dip

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Chop your provolone, salami, ham and olives into small pieces. Once chopped, you should have half a cup each of provolone, salami and ham and a quarter of a cup each of both varities of olives. Add them to a large mixing bowl along with your cream cheese, mayo, and mozzarella.
Step 2
Mix thoroughly then add the mix to your skillet or baking dish. Bake for around 12 minutes or until bubbly. Serve hot with toasts and crackers. Enjoy!
