Ingredients

  • 4 Pears
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp Pumpkin Spice
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 3/4 cup Chopped Pecans
  • 1/4 cup Water

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Slice each pear in half and scoop out the core with a spoon. Be sure and remove the stem. Place them in your baking dish core side up.
  • Place a sliver of butter on each pear. Drizzle your honey over the top of them all, making sure each is nicely coated. Then, sprinkle on your brown sugar, cinnamon and pumpkin spice. Place a quarter of a cup of water at the bottom of the dish. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove foil and place the pecans on top of the pears. Bake for an additional 10 minutes, until the pears are nice and bubbly on top. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Enjoy!

Notes

Best served warm with vanilla ice cream. Add more pumpkin spice or juice from the dish on top of the ice cream.
The water in the recipe will help steam your pears.
