3 Ingredient Cherry Pie Tart

This 3 ingredient cherry pie tart is the perfect simple, sweet and elegant dessert to serve at gatherings. It's so easy to make that you'll want to whip it up every time you have guests over!

  • Parchment Paper

Ingredients
  

  • Frozen Pie Crust Dough
  • 1 can Cherry Pie Filling
  • 1 Egg
  • Raw Sugar (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Place a parchment paper over a baking sheet. Place your unthawed pie crust dough onto the parchment paper. Spoon an entire can of cherry pie filling onto the center of the dough.
  • Fold up each side of the dough and pinch the corners once folded. It will make either a pentagon or a hexagon once finished. With a basting brush, brush a beat egg onto dough. If you wish, sprinkle a little bit of raw or brown sugar on top of the brush egg crust. Bake for around 30 minutes or until crust is golden and filling is bubbly. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!

You can create this recipe with any flavor pie filling; not just cherry.
