Equipment

  • Large Mixing Bowl
  • Cutting Board
  • Kitchen Knife
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper

Ingredients

  • 2 Puff Pastry Sheets
  • 2 tbsp Melted Butter
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese (I used a cheddar blend)
  • 1 cup Cooked Broccoli, Chopped (I used a steamable bag)
  • 1/2 cup Deli Ham, Diced
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Sugar (Or sugar substitute)
  • Sesame Seeds (Optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Unthaw and stretch out one puff pastry sheet onto a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Take the other sheet and cut it into strips. Lay and tuck each strip on the perimeter edges of the first one. It will look like a frame around the edges and will serve as your crust. Poke holes with a fork all throughout the bottom later pastry.
  • Mix shredded cheese, broccoli, ham, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, garlic powder and sugar into a bowl. Stir until it is thoroughly mixed. Spread it evenly inside the "frame" section of the pastry.
  • Melt butter and brush it all over the crust edges of the pastry. Add sesame seeds if you choose. Bake for around 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the inner filling is bubbly. Remove from oven and cut into squares. Enjoy!
