Easy Herb Butter Steak Bites with Mushrooms

These easy butter steak bites with mushrooms are the most decadent and easy dinner. You'll simply melt your butter in a skillet, add in your mushrooms, then add in your steak. Now don't get me wrong...you'll want a better cut of meat for this recipe. Trust me, it will be worth it! Once you've added the steak, add in some red wine, herbs and seasonings, and then MORE BUTTER for the richest and amazing dinner.

Equipment

  • Kitchen Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Large Skillet (I used a 15" Cast Iron skillet)
  • Spoon or Spatula

Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 New York Strips (About 3 lbs cut about 1" to 1 1/2" thick)
  • 8 oz Whole Brown Mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 Stick of Butter
  • 1/4 cup Red Wine
  • 2 tsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tbsp Dried Rosemary

Instructions
 

  • Cut your mushrooms in half from the tops. Heat a large skillet to medium to high heat. Melt half a stick of butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Let the butter melt, then add in your mushrooms. Let them cook for several minutes until they start to become tender.
  • Cut your steaks into little cubes. Add them and your salt, pepper, and onion powder to the skillet. Sauté' for several minutes until the steak bites turn brown on all sides. Add in your red wine, soy sauce and rosemary. Continue cooking, bringing to a boil, then reduce heat. Cook for an additional 5 minutes. Steak should be juicy and tender. Enjoy!
