9" Square Dish
Large Pot
Rubber Spatula
Tin Foil
Non-stick Spray
- 6 1/2 cups Apple Jacks Cereal
- 5 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon
- 10 oz Bag of Mini Marshmallows
Line a 9-inch square casserole dish with tin foil. Grease the base and sides of the foil. Set aside.
In a large pot, add your butter and heat on medium. Once butter is melted, add in your cinnamon and mix together. Add your marshmallows and stir with a spatula until fully melted.
Once the marshmallows are fully melted, add your cereal to the pot and fold into the melted marshmallows. Remove from heat and empty into your greased dish. Take another piece of foil and spray one side with non-stick spray. Press the greased side down on top of the cereal mix. Press down until it's a somewhat uniform thickness. Set aside for at least an hour.
Pick up the tin foil out of the dish and unwrap the treats. It should be simple because of the nonstick spray. Cut into individual squares. It should make 9-12 treats. Store in an airtight container. Enjoy!
