This Cajun sausage and cheese tortellini skillet is the perfect quick dinner. All you’re gonna do is boil some cheese tortellini and brown some smoked sausage. Remove it from the skillet and whisk up a cheesy spicy Cajun sauce. Toss them all back into the same skillet if you have the perfect one pot meal.

28ozPackage of Cheese Tortellini
28ozSmoked Sausage, Sliced
3tbspButter
1tbspFlour
3/4cupHeavy Cream
12ozVelveeta Cheese Sauce
1Can of Rotel Tomatoes with Green Chiles
Seasonings
1tbspCajun Seasonings
1tspOld Bay
1/2tspSalt
1tspPepper
1/2tspGarlic Powder
1/2tspOnion Powder
Instructions
Boil tortellini according to the instructions. Once it's cooked, drain and set aside.
Slice sausage and place it in a skillet. Brown it well then remove from the pan.
In the same pan, melt butter on medium heat. Add in flour and stir until a paste forms. Add heavy cream and stir until roux is mixed together into the heavy cream.
Reduce heat to low, add in the can of Rotel tomatoes then stir in the cheese sauce. Add seasonings to sauce and stir well, still on low
Fold in the browned sausage and then tortellini until it's fully mixed with the cheese sauce. Serve and enjoy!
