Easy Crockpot Loaded Queso Dip

This easy crockpot loaded queso dip is so easy and delicious for a crowd. It's also super easy. I like to call these a "dump" recipe. It's just the Velveeta, browned sausage, a can of rotel, and diced tomato, green bell pepper, and a purple onion. Dump those in with a can of evaporated milk for the most creamy, and loaded dip. This recipe is perfect for tailgating or any party! Read along to see how I threw this recipe together...

Equipment

  • Large Crockpot
  • Kitchen Knife
  • Skillet
  • Large Spoon or Spatula

Ingredients

  • 32 oz Velveeta Cheese
  • 1 can Evaporated Milk
  • 1 lb Hot Ground Sausage
  • 1 can Rotel Tomatoes
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 Large Tomato

Instructions

  • Brown sausage in a skillet until it is fully cooked. Chop and dice your red onion, bell pepper and tomato. Cut your Velveeta into cubes.
  • Add sausage, vegetables, and cheese to crockpot. Add in the can of evaporated milk and Rotel tomatoes. Do not drain the juice out of the can of tomatoes. Stir and heat on low setting until cheese is totally melted. Keep on warm setting for several hours. Serve with tortilla chips, tacos, fajita, etc.! Enjoy!

Notes

  1. This recipe can also be made immediately in a large pot. Add all ingredients into the pot the same way, and heat on low until fully melted.
  2. Add in diced jalapenos for added heat.
  3. You can also easily substitute the sausage for ground beef. I would season the beef with taco seasoning for more flavor before adding in.
