Equipment

  • Large Crockpot
  • Can Opener
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Measuring Cups

Ingredients

  • 3-4 Large Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 3-4 Fresh Peaches
  • 1 can Sliced Peaches
  • 1 Yellow Onion
  • 1/2 cup Bourbon/Whiskey
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Pepper
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 2 tsp Brown Sugar

Instructions

  • Take 3-4 large boneless skinless chicken breasts, trim off any fat, and place them whole into a large crockpot. Pit and slice 3-4 fresh peaches and add them into the crockpot. Also, add in one can of sliced peaches.
  • Add in 1/2 cups of bourbon or whiskey to your crockpot. Mix together all seasonings and add them in as well. Top off with chicken broth until everything is submerged. I used about 2 cups, but you may need more.
  • Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours. After your said cooking time, open your crockpot and shred chicken with forks. Once shredded, let it sit on low or warm for an additional 20-30 minutes. Serve warm and enjoy!
