Equipment You’ll Need

I love a good dump meal. You won’t need a lot of equipment besides your crockpot. Be sure to use a large crockpot, such as a seven or eight quart. Then you may need a can opener, and a knife and cutting board for your fresh peaches.

Ingredients You’ll Need

Chicken:

I used 3-4 boneless skinless chicken breasts. I trimmed any excess gristle and fat off of them and just place them whole into the crockpot.

Peaches:

I used a mix of fresh peaches and a can of sliced peaches. I liked the flavor of the juices that were in the canned peaches, and they both gave the recipe a mix of textures.

Bourbon:

You’ll used a half of a cup of bourbon or whiskey. I used Maker’s Mark. I like Maker’s and that’s what I had at my house. However, you could use whatever bourbon of your choice.

Onion:

The sliced onion gives it that good onion flavor and more texture.

Chicken Broth:

You’ll need more juice for it to cook in. I used about a cup of broth. You can use more or less and you see fit. You just want everything submerged in juice.

Seasonings:

You’ll need salt, pepper, onion and garlic powders, paprika and brown sugar. Mix them all together and just pour them into your crockpot.
