Old Fashioned Pimento Cheese
You have to try this old fashioned pimento cheese recipe. This is more of a sweet pimento cheese recipe. I used a mild cheddar and Swiss cheese as the base. - 8 oz Mild Cheddar Cheese
- 8 oz Swiss Cheese
- 3 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 4 oz Jar of Pimentos
- 1 tsp Sugar
Add your mild cheddar and Swiss cheese to a food processor with your S-shaped flat blade. Turn it on until cheeses are minced together.
Drain the juice out of the jar of pimentos then add in 3/4 of the jar to the food processor. Add in your sugar and mayonnaise. Turn on high until all is mixed together.
Remove the blade attachment from the food processor then add in the remainder of the pimentos to the mixture. Fold in with a spatula until whole pimentos are throughout the cheese. Transfer to an airtight container and keep in the refrigerator for up to a week. Enjoy!
