Questions You Might Have:
Can I make this non-alcoholic?
I good way to make this recipe nonalcoholic is to use a sparking grape or apple juice in place of champagne.
What type of glass should I use?
I used champagne flutes. However, you can use whatever glass you’d like. You get the fun effect regardless of what type of glass that you use. I think these would also be super cute in coupee glasses.
Other variations?
Another way to really step this recipe up a notch is to add in two shots of bourbon to the apple cider.
Equipment You’ll Need:
There’s not a whole lot of equipment needed to make these caramel apple mimosas. You’ll need a large pitcher to put the apple cider in. You’ll also need a sharp knife to slice your apples. Then, you’ll need some plates for serving the toppings.
Ingredients You’ll Need:
Apple Cider
I used storebought, premade apple cider. You can buy it everywhere during the fall months. You’ll want this apple cider to be cold, so if you make some from a mix, be sure to let it cool before using.
Apples
I used two different types of apples. I used Granny Smith apples and Red Delicious apples. You can use whatever variety you want or have.
Caramel Dip
Ok. This ingredient is very important. You want the caramel dip. This is typically in the refrigerated section by the fruit. This is the thick caramel dip. You can find caramel sauces by the ice cream toppings, but those have the potential to run and the nuts won’t stick as well.
You really need to make sure to find the dip. It is very thick, and perfect for this recipe.
Crushed Nuts
I used pecans and peanuts. I placed them in a plastic bag then crushed with a rolling pin. You can buy nuts that are already crushed or chopped.
Cinnamon Sugar
I bought cinnamon sugar that is already mixed together or you can take a few tablespoons of each and make it yourself.
Champagne
Use whatever champagne you’d like. There is not set amount. You can also use prosecco for this recipe.
