Y’all know how much I love a crockpot. I’m also not the best at roasting any type of meat or main dish. If I do, it literally has to take all of my attention. Meats in the crockpot are my newfound love. This crockpot brown sugar pineapple ham is the best. Not only is it extremely delicious, but it’s so perfect for holiday cooking. Just put it in the crockpot and forget about it. You don’t have to baby it all morning.
This crockpot ham comes out so perfect, sweet and tender. The pineapple and brown sugar create the perfect glaze that seeps down into the spirals of the ham. If you’re also like me, you’ll have ham for days. I use it for leftover sandwiches and even the bone and meat for recipes for days to come. This recipe is a win all the way around.
Equipment You’ll Need
You’ll need a large crockpot for this recipe. Mine is 7 a quart and it’s a tight squeeze! Ideally, if you have a 10 quart, that would work better.
Ingredients You’ll Need for This Crockpot Ham
Ham:
You’ll need a 3–4-pound spiral ham. These hams should already come sliced and precooked. Typically, they also come with a packet of glaze. You won’t need the glaze.
Pineapple:
I use three cans of pineapple. One crushed and two sliced. Don’t drain the juice from the cans. The ham will cook in the juices.
Brown Sugar:
You’ll need about a half a cup brown sugar. Just pile it on top of the ham.
Seasonings:
As for your seasonings, you’ll mix them all together and then sprinkle them over the top.
How to Make a Ham in a Crockpot?
