My family is so in love with this pepper jack cheesy pull apart bread. This is seriously the easiest bread appetizer there is. You’ll buy a round Italian loaf of bread, cut it crossways but not all the way through, stuff it with a whole bag of pepper jack cheese top it with some melted butter and spices. Bake for about 15 minutes and there you have it. This cheese bread appetizer is great for parties or even just to eat at home.
I have a bunch of boys around my house and they’re just hungry all the time. This was a quick appetizer I can throw together to satisfy them for just a little while. This bread was so easy, and I loved it. Less than 30 minutes to put together and it requires less than five ingredients. You can’t beat it.
Equipment You’ll Need
Equipment that you’re going to need for this bread recipe a pan to put it in. Of course, I used a cast-iron skillet. You’ll also need a bread knife to it with some parchment paper.
Ingredients You’ll Need
Round Italian Loaf:
I used a round Italian loaf. You can pretty much use any type of bread that you’d like, but the round works best for this recipe.
Shredded Pepper Jack Cheese:
I used about 8 ounces of pepper jack cheese. You could substitute another type of shredded cheese, but pepper. Jack just works here.
Melted Butter:
You’ll use two sticks of butter. Unsalted works best.
Seasonings:
You’ll use about 3/4 of a tablespoon of onion powder and just a tiny bit of Cajun seasoning.
