This slow cooker ranch sausage potatoes and green beans recipe is the easiest dinner. You have it all. Meat, potatoes and a vegetable. Literally, throw all the ingredients in your crockpot and let them cook on high for at least 5 hours. This is the simplest, no-brainer meal.
I love a good one pot meal. I especially like one that is easy to make. This is an old-fashioned recipe, and you can’t beat it. You’ll just throw all of the ingredients together and let them all cook together all day. You can eat this by itself as a meal or even as a side.
Questions You Might Have:
Do I have to make this in the crockpot?
No. You do not have to make this in the crockpot. If you want to make them on the stove, I would first sauté and brown my sausage. Then, add the rest of the ingredients and cook covered on low for at least an hour. You’ll need plenty of time for your potatoes to become tender.
What to serve with these potatoes, sausage, green beans?
You technically don’t have to serve anything with this meal. I would say maybe fix a salad and serve a bread on the side to complete this dish.
Do I have to use red potatoes?
No. You can substitute for whatever potatoes you’d prefer.
How long to cook sausage, green beans and potatoes in a crockpot?
I would say at least 5 hours on high. You want plenty of time for your potatoes to become tender.
How long will this recipe keep in the fridge?
I would say 5 days. Definitely do not store any longer than 7 days.
