Zesty Italian Bacon Wrapped Green Beans

Ok y’all. These zesty Italian bacon wrapped green beans. Simplest, easiest and most delicious side veggie. You’ll take some fresh green beans, make a little bundle, wrap them in bacon, then top with a few seasonings, brown sugar, and zesty Italian salad dressing. Bake and that’s it. So simple and so delicious!
I’ve been on a fresh green bean kick lately. There are so many ways to cook green beans. Don’t get me wrong, I love some canned green beans. However lately, I have been buying them fresh. This recipe is the perfect mix on bacon wrapped green beans and Italian green beans. They are so crazy simple to make and yummy. I’ll have these on repeat all summer long.
Equipment You’ll Need
The only equipment you’ll need for this recipe is a large baking sheet and a knife. That’s literally it. You’ll need the sheet to baking your Italian green beans on and then a knife to slice your bacon in half.
Ingredients You’ll Need
Fresh Green Beans:
You’ll need about a pound or a bundle of fresh green beans from the produce section of your grocery store. They typically come in a little bag.
Bacon:
You’ll need a half pound of bacon. You can use whatever flavor, type, whatever you like.
Seasonings:
As for seasonings, you’ll need salt, pepper and brown sugar. No particular amount of each. I just sprinkled them on top.
Zesty Italian Dressing:
You’ll need about two-ish cups of the zesty Italian dressing.
How to Make These Italian Bacon Wrapped Green Beans
step one:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Cut your bacon slices in half. Take about 3 to green beans and wrap them in half a slice of bacon, placing the end side down on the pan, so they don’t come unwrapped. Repeat until all the beans are wrapped.
step two:
Sprinkle the top of the bundles with salt, pepper and a generous amount of brown sugar. Then, drizzle your zesty Italian dressing over the top of each one until they are fully coated. Bake for about 25 minutes or until bacon looks nice and cooked. Serve and enjoy!
