Brownie Batter Dip

Oh my gosh this brownie batter dip. This is the thickest and creamiest dip there ever was, seriously. This is best dessert dip ever. I don’t know how this recipe could ever get any better. You’ll mix two pretty cold blocks of cream cheese with some cool whip, a box of double dark chocolate cake mix, and a bit of vanilla extract. Beat it with a mixer and serve. It’s so perfect and chocolatey. You want to try this…
I’ll be honest, I’m really not a sweets person. I’d rather eat something savory over sweets any day. However, I’m really obsessed about this brownie batter dip. Too, I think it’s the texture of it that makes it so amazing. Don’t soften your cream cheese before beating it. It creates the thickest and seriously “batter-like” texture. Yum. Wish I had some right now…
Equipment You’ll Need
A stand mixer is really ideal for this recipe. You can add in all your ingredients without having to stop. Plus, this batter is pretty thick. However, I understand they are super expensive, so it can be done with a bowl and hand mixer.
Ingredients You’ll Need
Cream Cheese:
You’ll need two blocks of cream cheese for this recipe. It’s actually ideal if you don’t soften them before you beat them.
Double Dark Fudge Cake Mix:
I know there’s a million types of chocolate cake mixes. I used one that was Duncan Hines “Double Dark Fudge.” However, any dark chocolate cake mix will work.
Cool Whip:
You’ll need about 8 ounces of cool whip.
Vanilla Extract:
A half teaspoon of vanilla will send the sweetness over the top.
How to Make This Brownie Batter Dip
Step One:
With a hand mixer or stand mixer with a paddle insert, beat and mix two blocks of cream cheese. It’s better if they are not softened.
Step two:
Once cream cheese is beaten, add in your cake batter. Keep mixing and then add your cool will and vanilla. Use a spatula to remove any from the sides to mix in. Beat until fully mixed then serve with various cookies and fruits. Enjoy!
