If you love wings, you’ll love this crispy baked garlic parmesan wings. These are so easy to make, and just as delicious and crispy as fried wings. The creamy butter topped with the powdery parmesan creates the perfect flavor for the wings. I’m telling you; you’ve got to make these garlic parmesan wings.
I am a huge fan of wings. I love wings of any kind. Seriously. Sometimes I really don’t feel like frying. These are so simple to bake and are similar to a fried texture. These wings are so perfect. They are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Plus, the garlic butter parmesan comes out so well.
Questions You Might Have:
Can I air fry these wings?
You can. I would add them to the air fryer at 375 for about 10 minutes on each side. You’ll need to flip them in between. Then, increase the temperature to 400 for an additional 2 minutes to get crispy.
What if I don’t have a baking rack?
You can bake the wings on the baking sheet. The bottoms of the wings just may not be quite as crispy.
Equipment You’ll Need:
Ingredients You’ll Need:
Chicken Wingettes
You’ll need about 3 to 4 pounds of chicken wingettes. I personally like using the wingettes butter than a whole wing. Three to four pounds was equivalent to two packets.
Flour
You’ll need one cup of flour for the base of the breading.
Baking Powder
I put one tablespoon of baking powder. This will just help crisp up the outsides of the wings.
Cornstarch
I always like adding cornstarch in with my flour for frying.
Seasonings
Butter
I used two sticks of salted butter.
Parsley
I added about a tablespoon of chopped parsley.
Heavy Cream
I like to add a little heavy cream. I feel like it makes just a little better. You’ll need about 1/4 cup of heavy cream.
Minced Garlic
You’ll need one tablespoon of minced garlic.
Grated Parmesan Cheese
You’ll need some grated parmesan cheese. No specific amount.
How to store and reheat these Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings:
These wings will keep in the refrigerator for up to five days. To reheat these garlic parmesan chicken wings, just lay them back out on the rack and bake on 375 for about 10 minutes until they become crispy again. Remember, reheating will create a little different flavor and texture since the cheese and butter will already be on the wings.
