Equipment You Will Need
I really didn’t use a lot for this recipe. To make my rolls, I laid the dough out on my countertop and assembled them from there. You will need the cast iron skillet. I have a 9″ round one. It was perfect for this. Also, I used a frying pan to scramble my eggs. Confession. I actually cooked my bacon in the microwave. Haha. It’s not like the main star of this dish, so I didn’t waste all the time of cooking it. Make sense?
Ingredients You Will Need
Pizza Dough:
I used a refrigerated pizza dough. You’ll only need one!
Eggs:
You’ll scramble 4 eggs. I thought that four was the perfect amount, but you could always add or subtract more.
Cheese:
I always use a blend of cheese for various recipes. I think for this particular one I used a mix of Cheddar and Monterry Jack. You don’t have to use that exact blend. Use whatever shredded cheese you’d like.
Bacon:
Like I said earlier, I actually microwaved my bacon for this dish. I put the slices in between two paper towels on a paper plate and microwaved them for 3-4 minutes. They didn’t have to be perfect and juicy since I was only going to crumble them. Less mess. You could cook the bacon however you please. Also, you could use storebought bacon bits as well.
Butter:
Butter makes everything better. I put a layer of the melted butter mixture in the rolls then poured the rest on top of them in the skillet before I baked them.
Minced Garlic:
Mix in some minced garlic in your butter. So good and flavorful.
Italian Seasoning:
This also goes in your butter mixture and is the “herb” component to this dish. Goes so perfect with the melted butter and garlic.
