Valentine’s Day Cookie Bars
These Valentine’s Day Cookie Bars are the perfect treat to celebrate with. They are made of a rich, red velvet fudge and an Oreo cookie crust! My daughter and I made these together and had so much fun in the process. We topped them with more Oreos and Valentines M&Ms and sprinkles! So much fun to make, and delicious to eat!
Equipment You’ll Need…
I will say…this recipe does have the potential to get pretty messy! However, it’s all in good fun! You’ll start by crushing your Oreos in a food processor. You want them to be super finly crushed. Mix with the melted butter then press it in the bottom of the casserole dish with the bottom of a measuring cup for the cookie bar base.
Then in a small pot, melt your chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. I used a nonstick pot. I found it worked the best. However, it still gets ooey gooey.
Ingredients You’ll Need…
I love making my fudges this way. I always use a can of sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips and cake mix. It’s literally so versatile and you can create almost any flavor you’d like. I also used an Oreo based crust for these bars. Also super easy to make.
