Bang Bang Chicken Skillet

This bang bang chicken skillet is a great easy dinner recipe. It just sauteed chicken tossed in a creamy sweet chili sauce with a hint of heat. You’ll do the same with the brussel sprouts. If you’ve ever had any meal with bang bang sauce, this is the simplest to make home. I love this meal. it’s semi low carb and super quick to make.
This skillet recipe is so simple and easy. I love recipes with bang bang sauce. I really love it over shrimp. I’m always trying to figure out simple easy recipes for weeknight. This was something so quick and semi-healthy.
Equipment You’ll Need
You’ll obviously use a large skillet for this recipe. I’m always using cast iron. You just can’t beat them. My Staub braiser is my favorite. You’ll also need a sharp kitchen knife for cut up your chicken with and maybe some tongs for tossing and cooking your chicken.
Ingredients You’ll Need
Chicken Breasts:
You’ll need three large chicken breasts.
Brussel Sprouts:
I buy the already halved brussel sprouts but you can cut them in half yourself.
Olive Oil:
I used a tablespoon or two of olive oil to sauté my chicken with.
Seasonings:
For the chicken, you’ll need paprika, garlic powder and salt and pepper.
Bang Bang Sauce:
You’ll need mayonnaise, sweet red chili sauce, siracha hot sauce, some lemon juice, honey and paprika.
How to Make Bang Bang Chicken
Step one:
Chop up your chicken breasts into cubes. Sprinkle them with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Sauté on medium to high heat with some olive oil until fully cooked. Remove from skillet and place in a large bowl.
Step two:
In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients for the bang bang sauce. Place half the sauce and the bowl with the chicken and toss.
Step three:
Add your brussel sprout to the skillet with some more olive oil. Sprinkle them with salt and sauté until they are browned and cooked.
Step four:
Add everything back to the skillet. Serve with the remainder of the sauce. Enjoy!

Ingredients

- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- Paprika
- Salt

Bang Bang Sauce
- 1 cup Mayo
- 3/4 cup Sweet Chili Sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp Siracha Hot Sauce
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 2 tsp Paprika
Instructions
