Simple Dill Salad with Lemon and Oil Dressing

I love this simple dill salad. This salad is so light and fresh goes perfectly with anything. It’s romaine lettuce sliced thinly with lots of green onions, fresh dill, feta cheese, top it off with some lemon, vinegar and olive oil dressing. That’s literally it. It takes less than five minutes to put together for the tastiest romaine salad.
My family loves this salad. I’m always trying to find salad recipe ideas that aren’t just out of a bag. This recipe is so simple and literally can go with anything. It’s very similar to the Greek salad that you can find Greek or Lebanese restaurants. I think the salad is super light and airy and just has such a fresh flavor.
Equipment You’ll Need
You’re going to need a sharp kitchen knife to chop your romaine lettuce, fresh dill, and green onions. You’ll also need a large salad bowl to dump it into and I personally like using a mason jar to mix my salad dressings together. It’s just easy to pour all the ingredients in there and then shake it up.
Ingredients You’ll Need
Romaine Lettuce:
You’ll need three large heads of romaine lettuce, thinly chopped.
Green Onions:
You’ll need about a whole bunch of green onions, chopped.
Fresh Dill:
I used a lot of fresh dill like maybe once it was chopped, probably a tablespoon worth
Feta Cheese:
I used a block of feta cheese I just like the way it tastes and the texture better, but you can already use the kind that’s already chopped up.
Lemon and Oil Salad Dressing:
For the dressing, you’ll need olive oil, lemon juice, vinegar, salt, and pepper and garlic powder.
How to Make This Simple Dill Salad
Step One:
Chop all the ingredients for the salad and place them in a large salad bowl.
Step two:
Put all the ingredients for the dressing in a small bowl or mason jar. Mix and drizzle over the top of the salad. Serve and enjoy!

- 1 tbsp White Vinegar
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- Juice of a Whole Lemon
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder

- Chop all the ingredients for the salad and place them in a large salad bowl.
- Put all the ingredients for the dressing in a small bowl or mason jar. Mix and drizzle over the top of the salad. Serve and enjoy!
