Step by Step How to Make this Easy Cherry Pie

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Place a parchment paper over a baking sheet. Place your unthawed pie crust dough onto the parchment paper. Spoon an entire can of cherry pie filling onto the center of the dough.

Fold up each side of the dough and pinch the corners once folded. It will make either a pentagon or a hexagon once finished. With a basting brush, brush a beat egg onto dough. If you wish, sprinkle a little bit of raw or brown sugar on top of the brush egg crust. Bake for around 30 minutes or until crust is golden and filling is bubbly. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
