Equipment You’ll Need

As for equipment, you’ll start with a vegetable peeler to peel your apples with. You could leave the rind on but it’ll make for a tougher and chewy textured filling. You’ll then need a skillet to fry your apples and bake the cobbler in. I used a 10-inch cast iron.
