You can use marshmallows, whipped cream, peppermints, chocolates and more.
I love making hot chocolate in a crockpot. Mainly because it will keep warm for as long as you want it to. You can make this recipe in a pot on the stove, but a crockpot just makes more sense.
Equipment You Will Need
Obviously, for this recipe you’ll need a crockpot. This is the exact one that I have. You’ll also need a ladle, some measuring cups, and some mugs. I love these clear mugs. They are so fun, and I like being able to see inside of them.
Ingredients You Will Need
Chocolate Chips:
I used a bag of mini chocolate chips. You can use more if you want it to be extra chocolatey, but you really don’t need to!
Sweetened Condensed Milk:
This adds the super richness to the hot chocolate. Do not leave this out.
Milk and Heavy Whipping Cream:
You’ll use a mix of milk and heavy whipping cream.
Vanilla Extract:
This just adds a little something extra.
