This crockpot hot chocolate recipe will be the last hot chocolate you’ll ever need to make. Period. This recipe is so amazingly thick and creamy. Plus, it stays warm all day, and you don’t have to worry about. This hot chocolate is perfect for any holiday party or event.
If you’re looking for the perfect hot chocolate recipe for your next holiday party, I promise you, this one is it. This recipe is made with real chocolate, milk, heavy cream, and sweetened condensed milk. It turns out so perfectly rich and creamy. I served it with lots of toppings. You can use marshmallows, whipped cream, peppermints, chocolates and more.
I love making hot chocolate in a crockpot. Mainly because it will keep warm for as long as you want it to. You can make this recipe in a pot on the stove, but a crockpot just makes more sense.
Equipment You Will Need
Obviously, for this recipe you’ll need a crockpot. This is the exact one that I have. You’ll also need a ladle, some measuring cups, and some mugs. I love these clear mugs. They are so fun, and I like being able to see inside of them.
Ingredients You Will Need
I used a bag of mini chocolate chips. You can use more if you want it to be extra chocolatey, but you really don’t need to!
Sweetened Condensed Milk:
This adds the super richness to the hot chocolate. Do not leave this out.
Milk and Heavy Whipping Cream:
You’ll use a mix of milk and heavy whipping cream.
This just adds a little something extra.
