I love this simple marinated cheese recipe. This cheese is so easy to whip together quickly to serve as an appetizer at any event. All you need is some different flavors or block or pre-sliced cheese, a high-quality olive oil, balsamic vinegar, some seasonings, and a jar of pimentos. That’s literally it to have the most savory snack that’s perfect for any occasion.

If you’re like me, you’re always looking for a last-minute appetizer. This marinated cheese recipe is the perfect, quick appetizer. This cheese is so savory and delicious. I love a recipe that’s quick and easy. This one is perfect. So, I just buy the pre-cut cheeses on the tray. That’s the easiest to use. You could also use a cheese block and cut them. It’s up to you. Most of the other items you may already have at home.



Equipment You Will Need

All you need to make this recipe is a cheese tray. That’s literally it. You may also use an air-tight container to save it if you have leftovers. Also, this recipe is so good the next day.



Ingredients You’ll Need

Cheese:

I used a pre-sliced cheese tray, but you can use various blocks of flavors of cheese.

Olive Oil & Balsamic Vinegar:

I used a high-quality extra virgin olive oil and a balsamic vinegar.

Pimentos:

You’ll need a 4-ounce jar of pimentos. You’ll drain out half of the liquid and put the other half over the top of the cheese.

Seasonings:

For seasonings, you’ll use coarse salt, Italian seasonings and red pepper flakes.



How to Make Marinated Cheese

Step One:

Arrange cheeses out on a tray or dish. Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the top. Sprinkle salt, pepper flakes, Italian seasonings over the top.

Step two:

Drain out half the liquid from the pimento jar then empty the rest plus the pimentos over the top of the cheeses. Serve immediately with crackers or make the night before in an air-tight container. The cheese will keep up to 5 days in the air-tight container. Enjoy!
