I’ve been cooking different types of beans in the crockpot for years. It’s one of Allen‘s favorite types of food. He either wants a big ole steak or big pot of beans. I really felt like this one had all the things: meat, beans, greens. It’s really so delicious. The sausage adds such good flavor to this simple dish.

You’ll need 36 ounces of frozen black eyed peas. I like to use frozen peas because you don’t have to soak them overnight.
