Equipment You’ll Need
There’s not a lot you’ll need for this super easy boursin pasta recipe. Basically, you’ll need a casserole or au gratin dish to bake your cheese and tomatoes in. I’m not sure why I love my 9-inch oval dish, but I do! Mine is Staub and I got it off of Amazon. Other than that, you’ll need a large pot for boiling your pasta and a strainer.
Lastly, you’ll need some sort of blender. A blender, bullet, food processor, just whatever you have. This will be to emulsify your tomatoes and cheese into the heavy cream! Yum!
Ingredients You’ll Need
Obviously, the star of the show here is the boursin garlic and herb cheese. However, you’ll have some tomatoes, seasonings, heavy cream, and pasta!
Boursin Garlic and Herb Cheese:
You’ll find it in the deli/gourmet cheese section of the grocery store. There are several different flavors you can buy. I just personally love the garlic and herb option the best. You could try any of them!
I used two containers of cherry tomatoes. It ended up being around 3 cups.
This is what the tomatoes roasted in. I used extra virgin olive oil.
I roasted the tomatoes with the red pepper flakes then added the salt pepper and garlic powder into the blender with the heavy cream. The cheese has a lot of flavor already so you won’t need much seasonings!
Use about two cups of uncooked pasta of your choice! I used penne, but any kind works!
